Agreement Overview

By booking with ElyTrip or using our services, you enter into a binding agreement with us. These Terms and Conditions outline the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of both parties to ensure a smooth and memorable Kashmir travel experience.

Service Agreement

ElyTrip operates as a travel service provider specializing in Kashmir tourism. Our services include but are not limited to travel planning, accommodation bookings, transportation arrangements, and guided tours.

Our Commitment:

  • Provide accurate information about all travel services and destinations
  • Ensure all bookings are confirmed and documented properly
  • Deliver services as described in your booking confirmation
  • Maintain 24/7 customer support during your Kashmir trip
  • Handle all complaints and issues with professionalism and urgency
Service Limitations

Our services are subject to availability, weather conditions, government regulations, and local circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify itineraries for safety reasons.

Booking & Payment Terms

All bookings with ElyTrip require advance payment and are subject to our payment and confirmation policies.

Booking Process:

  • All bookings must be confirmed with a minimum 30% advance payment
  • Full payment is required 15 days before the travel date
  • Group bookings (8+ people) require 45 days advance notice
  • Peak season bookings require 60 days advance notice
  • Special occasion packages require full advance payment

Payment Methods:

  • Bank transfer to our verified account
  • UPI payments to registered number
  • Credit/Debit card payments through secure gateway
  • Cash payments at our Baramulla office (advance bookings only)
Payment Security

All payments are processed through secure, encrypted channels. We do not store credit card information and comply with PCI DSS standards for payment security.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting against losses incurred due to advance bookings.

Force Majeure Exceptions

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, customers have certain responsibilities when traveling with ElyTrip.

Travel Documentation:

  • Carry valid government-issued photo identification at all times
  • Ensure all travel documents are current and valid
  • Inform us of any special medical conditions or dietary requirements
  • Provide emergency contact information for family members

Conduct & Behavior:

  • Respect local customs, traditions, and cultural sensitivities
  • Follow all safety guidelines provided by our team
  • Maintain appropriate behavior that doesn't disturb other travelers
  • Comply with local laws and regulations
  • Take responsibility for personal belongings and valuables

Health & Safety:

  • Disclose any medical conditions that may affect travel
  • Carry necessary medications and medical supplies
  • Follow altitude acclimatization guidelines in high-altitude areas
  • Inform guides immediately of any health concerns during the trip

While we take every precaution to ensure your safety, travel inherently involves certain risks that customers must acknowledge and accept.

ElyTrip Liability Coverage:

  • Services delivered as per confirmed booking arrangements
  • Professional negligence in service delivery
  • Issues arising from our direct service providers
  • Loss or damage to luggage in our direct custody

Customer Risk Acceptance:

  • Personal injury due to adventure activities or personal negligence
  • Loss of personal belongings not in our direct custody
  • Delays or cancellations due to weather, natural disasters, or strikes
  • Changes in government regulations affecting travel plans
  • Medical emergencies and associated costs
Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and personal belongings. ElyTrip can assist in recommending suitable insurance providers.

Changes & Modifications

We understand that sometimes travel plans need to be modified. We offer flexibility where possible, subject to availability and additional costs.

Customer-Initiated Changes:

  • Date changes: Subject to availability and price difference
  • Accommodation upgrades: Additional charges apply
  • Itinerary modifications: Processing fee of ₹2,000 plus cost difference
  • Group size changes: May affect per-person pricing

ElyTrip-Initiated Changes:

  • Alternative arrangements of equivalent or higher value at no extra cost
  • Full refund if suitable alternatives cannot be arranged
  • Compensation for significant downgrade in services
  • 24-hour advance notice whenever possible
Peak Season Limitations

During peak tourist seasons (May-August, December-January), modification options may be limited due to high demand and advance bookings by our partners.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India and the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ElyTrip services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Baramulla, Kashmir. We encourage resolution through direct communication before pursuing legal remedies.
